(Posted on 07/06/18)
It was an absolute delight to be asked to be Heather and Jakes Hever Castle wedding photographer , after all Hever Castle is the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.
If you explore the grounds a little you will discover a magnificent award-winning garden set in 125 acres of glorious grounds at Hever Castle. You can tickle your historical taste buds and marvel at the Pompeiian Wall and classical statuary in the Italian Garden; there are also giant topiary chess sets f over 4,000 rose bushes in the quintessential English Rose Garden.
The Italian Loggia, overlook a 38-acre lake, and many cascades, grottoes and fountains. A stroll through the Tudor Garden, Blue Corner or Rhododendron Walk, are refreshing and in abundance and were originally planted in 1904 and that over 1000 men worked on the design , A truly beautiful venue for any wedding day.
Heather chose to get ready in the bridal suite , meanwhile Jake and the ushers played pool for most of the morning and the entire preparations were very relaxed.
The ceremony was pretty emotionally charged , filled with lots of personal details and heart felt vows. Heather and Jake really valued their family especially Ophelia , their daughter who enviably has inherited her parents rich auburn locks .
The day was beautiful , Heather wore a pair of Carvela heels , and a couture dress which when she stepped into it all I could see was this magical fae .
If you would like to know more about how I can become your wedding photographer please say hi :)
