West Mill Derby exclusive wedding venue.

What an absolute blinder of a wedding! Thank you so much to Emily and Tom for choosing little old me to be their West Mill Derby wedding photographer. I was honoured to share such a beautiful day with them , they have been together for 10 years and their love just increasingly blossoms , it was beautiful to witness. 

 

The West Mill at Darley Abbey Mills has been transformed into an exclusive use wedding venue. This magnificent Grade 1 Listed Building offers a relaxed and individual setting for Emily and Toms wedding. Emily wore a most beautiful Pronovias wedding gown, and her bouquet was equally magnificant by Hollie and Fox flowers. 

Emily and Tom said 'I do ' in the cotton quarter surrounded by exposed brick walls, original blue brick tiled floors, cast iron beams and unique cast iron ceiling .

This beautiful wedding venue is situated in a stunning riverside location along the River Derwent with views over the historic mill weir. Split over four floors, the building offers unique and separate spaces for your civil ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception areas for drinks and dancing. Its such an exciting venue to explore , also the light changes daily and its magnificant.

The West Mill’s outside south facing courtyard and riverside location are the perfect place to meander when seeking out settings for portraits and what an experiment we had together
